If you are an apprentice or sponsor of an apprentice in Oswego County then your Designated Local Education Agency (DLEA) is the Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation. WHAT IS A DLEA? A Designated Local Education Agency (DLEA) is the local regional center responsible for administering instructional programs for all apprenticeships or post apprenticeships within a county. The Commissioner of the State Education Department appoints one DLEA for each county in New York State, which in most cases, is a BOCES or vocational related center. The District Superintendent of CiTi (or administrator in charge) appoints a specific person who assumes responsibility for overseeing all related apprenticeship instruction. The appointed individual at CiTi is Paul Gugel, Director of Migrant Education. Contact us at (315) 963-4256.
Students who have completed a program in Practical Nursing, Medical Assisting and Dental Assisting at CiTi are given an Official Transcript at the completion of their course. For those students requiring additional copies of their transcripts, please call the Adult Education office at 593-9400 for a transcript request form. A fee of $10.00 per transcript will be charged. Please note that only bank check, money order, Master Card or Visa can be accepted (No personal checks). Also, an Official Transcript can only be sent to an institution, not to an individual. Students may request an unofficial copy of their transcript for a fee of $10.00.
