Reading League Coaches Assigned to School Districts

The leadership team at The Reading League matched up Reading League Coaches with on-site support for school districts. Coaches have been supporting district administrators, teachers, and students in a variety of ways. The coaching model aligns to ESSA’s  (Every Student Succeeds Act) definition of professional development: sustained, intensive, collaborative, job-embedded, data-driven, and classroom focused. Below is an OCLI team in the Mexico Academy and Central School District. Top right is Reading League Coach Jennifer Young with Natasha Anderson, 3rd Grade Teacher at Mexico Elementary (top left), Denise Perkins, RtI Teacher at New Haven Elementary (bottom left), and Donna Herrmann, RtI Teacher at Palermo Elem (bottom right).
