Community Schools Career Exploration Camp - Unearth Your Future
Elementary Career Exploration Camp for Grades 5–6
July 13–17, 2026 | CiTi BOCES Mexico CampusHelp Students Dig Into the Possibilities—Before High School.
Careers don’t start with resumes. They start with curiosity.Unearth Your Future invites local industry partners to help elementary students excavate their interests, uncover their strengths and discover how real careers are built—right here in Oswego County.
By introducing careers in a hands-on, age-appropriate way, we help students begin building their future long before important academic and career decisions are made.
WHY START EARLY?
By fifth and sixth grade, students are already forming ideas about:
- What they’re good at
- What they enjoy
- What careers feel “possible”
Without early exposure, many career paths remain buried. Unearth Your Future changes that—by letting students explore careers the same way archaeologists explore the past: hands-on, curious and guided by experts.

- A week-long summer camp
- Hands-on career “Dig Site” rotations aligned to career
