The Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation is inviting the community to get an inside look at the incredible work happening across its programs during the 2026 CiTi BOCES Open House – Superpower Showcase, an all-day event celebrating students, staff and the many opportunities available through BOCES.

Taking place April 15, 2026, at the CiTi BOCES campus in Mexico, the event marks a return to the organization’s roots with a full-day showcase format designed to highlight the breadth of programs and services offered to students and school districts across the region. Community members, families, prospective and current students and industry partners are encouraged to save the date and attend this open-to-the-public event.

From 9:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., visitors will have the opportunity to tour programs, meet students and staff and see firsthand how CiTi students are developing skills for the future. Throughout the day, programs will be open to guests as students demonstrate their “superpowers” through hands-on learning, technical training, creative projects and career-focused experiences.

“We are thrilled to bring back the all-day showcase format and welcome the public to our Mexico campus,” said CiTi District Superintendent/Executive Officer Jeremy Belfield. “Our students possess remarkable 'superpowers'—the technical and creative skills that will define their future careers. This event is a chance for the community to see that growth firsthand and celebrate the diverse programs that make CiTi BOCES a cornerstone of regional education.”

Following the open-to-the-public daytime showcase, Career and Technical Education Advisory Meetings will be held at 2:45 p.m., bringing together invited industry partners and educators to help guide program development and ensure students are prepared for today’s workforce. If you are interested in volunteering to provide industry insight during an advisory meeting, please contact the Career and Technical Education office.

The day will conclude with the CiTi BOCES Annual Meeting, which is for invited school district guests only.

Community members are encouraged to stop by during the daytime open house to explore the campus, celebrate student achievements and learn more about how CiTi helps students build their future.
