Oswego County P-TECH Students to be Honored with National Award
35 students in the Oswego County P-TECH program recently earned the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) from ACT Workkeys.
This nationally recognized credential establishes a student’s employability based on several factors that measure student’s academic, technical and professional career readiness skills.
“Our students will forever be able to proudly list this credential on their resumes,” said Oswego County P-TECH Principal Brian Heffron. “It will be a stamp of confidence to any employer in Oswego County that a P-TECH student has the necessary skills our manufacturing industry requires.”
Student will be awarded their NCRC certificates on March 13, 2020, part of the Internship Signing Day at Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation.
The event begins at noon and is open to the public.
