CiTi Receives Donation from Menter Ambulance for EMT Certification
CiTi BOCES is pleased to announce a significant financial donation from Menter Ambulance, aimed at enhancing student certification in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training. This contribution will directly benefit students enrolled in the Public Safety & Justice Career Technical Education program.
Brian Heffron, Administrator of Workforce Development and Community Relations, stated, “By the time a student graduates from the Public Safety Career Technical Education program at CiTi, they have mastered a wide range of employable skills in fire, law enforcement, and EMT sectors. This contribution will allow the program to go a step further in ensuring our students can pursue meaningful employment in high-need areas upon graduation from high school.”
The donation will support current Public Safety students in achieving EMT certification, providing them with vital skills and qualifications to enter the workforce. Menter Ambulance is also an active member of the Public Safety Advisory Committee, further demonstrating their commitment to local education and community support.
Founded in 1952, Menter Ambulance has been serving Oswego County communities with 16 Advanced Life Support ambulances and a dedicated team of over 140 employees.
