The Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation is pleased to announce it has been awarded a $4,000 grant through the DOT Foods Charitable Grant Program to provide supplemental meals and snacks for the Weston T. Hyde Foundation’s Fueling Futures program. This grant enables CiTi BOCES programs to distribute nutritious food to students, supporting their physical and cognitive health to enhance success in the classroom and beyond
Food insecurity is a major challenge in Oswego County, impacting students’ success both in and out of the classroom,” said Brian Heffron, Administrator of Workforce Development and Community Relations. “Thanks to the dedication of an incredible team of CiTi and Weston T. Hyde Foundation volunteers, along with support from compassionate companies like DOT Foods, the Fueling Futures program is making a meaningful difference by helping students build a strong foundation for success.”
