Oswego County P-TECH
P-TECH Scope & Sequence
-
Below you will find a detailed listing of what classes will be offered in what years. Items highlighted in yellow are classes that are for college credit and taught at OCC by OCC Professors. Items highlighted in green are college-level coursework taught at CiTi by OCC credentialed teachers. Most are also used for high school credit. Below each class you will see blocks with numbers - the first block is the number of high school credits and the second block is the number of college credits associated with a particular class. A running tally at the bottom of the page shows how many high school and college credits will be accumulated by the end of each year.
The first sheet shows the Mechanical Technology sequence and the second sheet shows the Electrical Engineering Technology sequence. This document is a basic offering plan, students who are not on a normal track due to previously completed courses or repeated courses will have altered schedules. Given that the acronym P-TECH means Pathways in Technology Early College High School and students coming from a number of different backgrounds - we expect that we will make individual adjustments for many students.
NOTE: Year 2 college course will be taught at CiTi BOCES campus by an Oswego County P-TECH staff member who will be credentialed through OCC.
NOTE: Year 3 students start attending OCC two days per week.
NOTE: Year 4 students attend OCC five days per week.
NOTE: this is a changing document and it will be updated when changes are approved by the New York State Education Department.
