Scholarship Guidance was created in 2011 to help students find scholarship opportunities for the upcoming school year. Their scholarship database is used by high schools and post-secondary schools across the nation. Here you will find a list of Scholarships. Lincoln Technical Institute
The Lincoln Technical Institute scholarship is open to any high school senior who is considering or planning on attending Lincoln Tech.
Ohio Technical College

AED Foundation Scholarship
The AED Foundation (AEDF) collaborated with the Caterpillar Foundation in March 2020 to develop a scholarship for students interested in entering the equipment industry. With the generous grant of $300,000 from the Caterpillar Foundation, AEDF will distribute scholarships of up to $2,000 to high school students seeking careers in diesel technology across North America who intend to attend AED accredited programs.A list of AED accredited programs can be found here. The Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications from students. Interested students may apply here

Antique Automobile Club of America
The Antique Automobile Club of America awards an annual scholarship of $800 to a high school senior who is attending college or trade school in the automotive field. Students may apply here.

Automotive Aftermarkets Scholarships Central
Nearly 500 scholarships for the 2022-2023 school year will be awarded to students training to become automotive, heavy duty or collision repair technicians. Chairish Scholarship
Design Your Future Scholarship awards $5,000 and is open to high school seniors, undergrads, and graduate students who are majoring in design-related fields such as architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and engineering fields. Students may apply here.

CNA Free Training Scholarship
"CNA Free Training" provides free materials for those preparing to take the CNA exam, which is a requirement in order to become a licensed CNA. We have free practice tests for each section of the CNA exam, as well as supplemental training materials that can be used while taking CNA classes-all of which are free. Deadline to apply is April 2, 2022. Interested students may apply here.

CNA Scholarship
As a part of our mission to educate and assist those who desire to become Certified Nursing Assistants across the country, we are now offering a scholarship to aspiring CNAs. Our goal is to help students find CNA classes, gain CNA skills, and help spread knowledge about the process of becoming a CNA. Applicants can apply for the scholarship here.

CNY STEM Scholarships
SRC, Inc., TTM Technologies, King + King Architects, Novelis, INFICON, and Sherrill Manufacturing, in partnership with the CNY STEM Hub, are pleased to announce the 2022 CNY STEM Scholarship Program.
This scholarship program, now in its 9th year, is open to graduating high school seniors from Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, and Tompkins counties who will be majoring in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation, or Process Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Materials Science, or Architecture, starting in fall of 2022. This year’s scholarship program will provide financial support and at least one paid summer internship at the participating company, pending business conditions.
There is no financial eligibility requirement. Students attending a college or university in New York State majoring in the selected STEM areas will be given preference during the selection process. Finalists will be chosen based on academic merit, extracurricular activities, honors/awards, an essay related to STEM, and a final interview.

Elks National Foundation Scholarship Programs
Most Valuable Student Award
The Elks National Foundation will award 500 four-year scholarships to the highest-rated applicants in the 2023 competition. Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.
Ranging from $1,000 per year to $12,500 per year, Most Valuable Student scholarships are for students pursuing a four-year degree, on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 semester hours), in a U.S. college or university. All scholarships are in the form of certificates of award conditional upon the full-time enrollment of the winner in an accredited U.S. college or university.

Legacy Award
Legacy Awards are $4,000 scholarships available to children and grandchildren of Elks members. Eligibility requirements and the application can be found here. The 2023 contest and application closes on February 6, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time.
Emergency Educational Grants
Emergency Educational Grants provide undergraduate college financial assistance to children of deceased or totally disabled Elks in the form of renewable, one-year grants of up to $5,000. The grant is for educational assistance only and is not intended to cover the entire cost of a college education.
Grant amounts are based on the information submitted in the application and can range up to $5,000. More information and the application can be found here.

Gerard J. Buckenmeyer FASNY Volunteer Scholarship
The Gerard J. Buckenmeyer FASNY Volunteer Scholarship program is made possible each June through the generous donations of individuals, fire departments and auxiliaries. The awards recognize exemplary members of the youth fire service who also contribute to their communities. The scholarship application can be found here.

Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship
In January 2020, Lockheed Martin launched the Vocational Scholarship Program to support students of all ages participating in skills-based training in engineering, technology, and advanced manufacturing fields at an accredited community or technical college. The Vocational Scholarship program is a critical component of Lockheed Martin’s investment in workforce development and education. In 2022, Lockheed Martin’s Vocational Scholarship Program will award up to $5,000 to as many as 150 recipients.

SAME Scholarship (Society of American Military Engineers)
This scholarship is intended for students pursuing a college education in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field. Interested students may complete the application here and submit it no later than April 14, 2023.

Mike Rowe Works Foundation
That’s right—we’re giving away $1,000,000 for this year’s Work Ethic Scholarship Program. Through this program, we recognize people who understand the importance of work ethics, personal responsibility, delayed gratification, and a positive attitude. These are hardworking men and women who will keep the lights on, water running, and air flowing. These are people who show up early, stay late, and bust their asses day in and out. It’s not for everyone. Hard workers are hard to find, but we know you’re out there. Students may apply here.

Oswego Teachers Credit Union Scholarship
In an effort to help further the education of high school students, the Oswego Teachers E. Federal Credit Union is offering scholarships to students who are members of the credit union and a high school senior at the time of application. They will be competing for one (1) of seven (7) $500 scholarships and one (1) $1,000 scholarship offered by the Oswego E. Teachers Federal Credit Union. We are designating two (2) scholarships per school district and one (1) county wide scholarship. Applicants will be judged on academic performance, extra-curricular and community activities, references, and personal goals. Students may apply by visiting the website here.

PB & J Scholarship
The PB & J Scholarship is for students who have experienced personal challenges that may not have allowed them to perform well academically, but who still have the drive to succeed.
Examples of personal challenges include:
Medical Issues
Peer Issues: bullying, change of school, minority status, etc.
Family issues: divorce, death, lack of income, homelessness, foster care, abuse, etc.When in doubt, students are encouraged to apply visiting the scholarship website.

Thomas Olivo Leadership Award
This $500 scholarship is available to seniors who are enrolled in a Career and Technical Education program, who have actively participated in a Career & Technical Student Organization, and who have demonstrated leadership abilities. Two students will be selected from our local area zone of the New York State Association of Career and Technical Education Administrators. The application can be found here.
